How to Install the LAMP Stack for Ubuntu

Hey WHATT Denizens!

Since this is the second post in 30 minutes that I’ve made, you may have guessed that I’m working on getting a new server up and running.  The second piece of this project is to get the LAMP stack up and running.

LAMP stack is a group of open source software used to get web servers up and running. The acronym stands for Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP. Since the virtual private server is already running Ubuntu, the Linux part is taken care of.

Apache = The Web Server
MySQL = The Database Server
PHP = The Web Application Server

The tutorial that I used to get my stack up and running is located here:

Have fun!
